CHANGE of PLANS

Sorry everyone. I have to have an unexpected absence. It is okay to smile about it. You will make it through the day.*
Since I am not there at a part of the process where some of you are ready to set up and narrate your recordings I have decided to change the due date to the end of class on TUESDAY. We will still have the quiz over Chapter 6 on Wednesday.
If anyone feels they are ready or just want to submit their first attempt at recording go ahead and use your class's Seesaw account. I trust you. We can take it down before submitting your final.
Project Tuesday.
Quiz Wednesday.

*do console the other teachers, they have a tough time without me there. 😉

Declaration of Independence - Reading

We have spent the last couple of days discussing the creation and structure of the Declaration of Independence.   Modern readings require a sweeping soundtrack to capture the drama.  In 1776 the words "he", "tyrant" and "unfit" would have created the same effect.  Here is the reading we listened to in class.

And here is the fun way we ended class.

Part II

Below is the second video on the causes of the American Revolution.  You should complete four more steps on your causes note sheet in the history binder.  Watch for the special incentive embedded in the video!

(Still some rough editing, but improving!)
