Timely Lessons....

Timely Lessons....

We are currently in the midst of our Constitution unit, covering the framework of our Government.  The test is currently scheduled for next Thursday, November 8.  It was originally scheduled for the 7th, however, I think we will have something else to talk about that day!

The Quizlet Review is available now for vocabulary review.

Part of the next assessment involves our discussion of the Declaration of Independence. Remember that there are four parts:

The Preamble
The Statement of Natural Rights
The List of Grievances
The Declaration

You may prepare for the test by identifying each one of these parts and explain each's purpose.  Its the perfect activity for half-time of any of the football games this weekend!  Explain the parts to your family, your pet or to your mirror.  Use the Declaration sheet in your binder or Chapter 6 in your text.

This is the turning point document of American History, the document that sets the course for everything we will discuss for the rest of the year.
